2289- First record of the refitted Kep Salu I, no record of a refit order given, or records of it's duty for the 15 years before that.

March- Lanson J. Richson takes command of the USS Kep Salu I. After a lengthy rescue of parts stolen from the ship, it returns to active duty.

June- The Vengance first appears. It deals a devestating blow to the Paradise V colony, before getting struck back upon by the Kep Salu I.

August- News of the Kep Salu's already numerous rescues and successful missions reach the federation public, who begin watching intently the progess of the old ship's mission.

September- The Kep Salu is sent to the Gamma Quadrant to begin mapping the Tigris Expanse.

October- The ship begins exploration of the Aira system. (Warning: Further details classified!)

November- The Kep Salu docks at the newly built Hyperlight Base 193 for repairs after fending off another attack by the Vengance.

2377-

January- The Kep Salu investigates two passages further into the winding maze of the Tigris expanse. One is rendered useless by a minefield deployed by the Vengance. The other is named the Salu passage, and a convoy of Firebird class cruisers and a Leviathan class Carrier is sent in by Hyperlight Industries to help investigate the deeper portions of the expanse further.

Febuary- Kalida, a tidally locked world in orbit around a gas giant is discovered. While only marginally habitable, Richson establishes his permenant home along the terminator of the desert planet. The Vengance engages him not long afterwards, intent on claiming some of the properties of the planet for her captain's benifit.

April- The first signs of the Canis appear, in ruins found on Aira. In the deep expanse, the Kep Salu is nearly destroyed by the first known Gravametric Whirlpool. The Leviathan and Flash assist it in escaping.

June- The ship once called a 'Long shot' by starfleet command comes home for a week to the sound of a mildly impressive party. The old ship has gained in the space of a year the kind of reputation given to elite new ships and their crews. The public absolutely loves the rag-tag crew given to the ship, and the ship's own peculiar character. After a minor refit, bringing her closer to modern specs, she is forcibly sent out again by her captain, who decided against the Admiralty on the idea of having the ship tour the inner worlds of the federation.

July- Kantor is discovered. It is found to be rich in mineral resources, and a mining operation is set up. An abortive assault by the now 4 ship Black Fleet, led by the Vengance, is repelled by the now officially grouped 1701st Strike Fleet.

August- 5 older Alliance class Starfleet Frigates are assigned to the Kep Salu and the 1701st to assist in putting down the Black Fleet, and mapping the expanse.

December- The Fleet Wars begin. An open strike by the Black Fleet destroys 2 of the starfleet frigates, and severely damages Base 193, and it's starfleet docking arm.

Records from 2378-2381 lost

2381: Kep Salu 2 launched after Kep Salu 1 presumed destroyed. Ship is given the same registry code and name at request of her captain, Richson. The Salu class battlecruisers appear to be an impressive success from the outset.

2387- The Kalida Campeign goes down as one of the worst routs in starfleet history. The siege of base 193 is lost by the black fleet, which is almost annialated, at a heavy cost. The Kep Salu is nearly damaged beyond all repair after it rams the vengance in one final last-ditch move. It had previously lost all warp manuvering and had lost weapons and shielding. Vengance I is destroyed in the manuver.

2388-

July 4th- The Kep Salu, now equipped with the to be legendary Redemption Refit, is stolen from Spacedock in earth orbit, after the Admirals deem it unspaceworthy due to an impulse drive sabatoge in it's earlier test flight. On it's way out, it breaks nearly every speed record in the book, outrunning the latest starfleet experimental test ships, which are running transwarp drives. It's estimated speed out to the Gamma Quadrant is at least Warp 18 (1,889,568x lightspeed)

September- The search and destroy fleet moves into the Gamma quadrant, with orders to annilate the Kep Salu. First sighting of the Vengance II.

2389-

August- The Kep Salu is re-commissioned, and all charges dropped against her command crew, after an assault by the Black Fleet.

2400: USS Kep Salu becomes MIA during a routine patrol, missing with all hands aboard. Captain Richson, and a few of the crew who were testing the ship's sister, the Kep Salu II, remain, left behind for one of the bloodiest wars in Galatic history, the Black Fleet Conquest.

2412: In the last, depserate battle at Earth, the Black Fleet armada is hopelessly crushed, and their leader killed by his brother in a brutal duel, after Richson finally cheats, bringing his fighter to bear on his brother and pumping over 50 shots from it's main guns into his body.

December 14: Earth is lost to the Ohansu Empire!

December 20: The Civil Alliance of the Galaxy is formed.

January 3: Kalida Raid begins

January 6:Alliance forced away from Kalida by the Black Fleet

January 21: Narrow escape from battlefleet & Citadel by CSS Long Shot

January 22: Citadel docks at Kalida for repairs

January 26: Melony's first self-piloted Flight; Destruction of prototype Imperial Fighters, Infiltration of Citadel, Melony links up with Richson over Aira.

Febuary1: Melony lands on Aira with Richson, for special training
